Kumaraguru Institutions Congratulates its Alumnus Ms Swathi Gopalakrishnan Her startup ‘Base'P’ has won Tamil Nadu Start-up Seed Grant Fund (tanseed) 4.0. She received the award from the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M. K. Stalin on 31 December 2022. Her entrepreneurial venture Base'P works on developing sustainable plantbased meat/vegan products. It was incubated at TNAU, Coimbatore supported by the Department of Science and Technology ( Department of Science and Technology, Government of India ) and Venture center, and pre-incubated at IIM Bangalore through the Women startup up Program. Base’P was also one of the 25 start-ups selected out of over 1000 start-ups for a seed fund grant of Rs 10 Lakh rupees and one of the 7 start-ups selected under the sector green technology (Climate and sustainability).
