KCT campus was engrossed by more than 450 luminaries from 18+ countries across the globe. The event GAM'19 (Global Alumni Meet) was one of the eminent events that happen intermittently once in two years. The day was filled with twittering voices from the horde and chattering the memories of those illustrious days. Mr. Sujith Kumar, Founder of Maatram, HR of Infosys, Chennai filled the occasion with the epigrammatic words of Professional Growth to the alumni. He suffused the minds of alumni by the ways to foster them in their profession. Dr.B.K. Krishnaraj Vanavarayar, Chairman, Mr. Balasubramanian, Correspondent and Shri. Shankar Vanavarayar, Joint Correspondent, KCT gave a special address to the gathering congratulating the alumni on their true dedication and success over the years. Four of the significant alumni were honored with Special Recognition Awards to flip over their excellence in different fields and add this accolade to their crown. They are Mr. Shanmugasundaram MP from Pollachi, N.S. Ramya who received her silver medal in Paralympics, Mr. Praveen Kumar.B co-chair of Young Indians Coimbatore chapter, Mr. Sethupathy Vice President of Confederation of Indian Industry in Karur. There was also awards for many other achievers and Professionals. The Alumni Excellence Awards 2019 was presented for the stellar achievements of four of Alumni, Mr. Sathish Nair, CEO & Founder of ESSEMM Corporation, Mr. Raam Mohan of Farm Made Food, Mr. Yugendran, Director – Operations at Merestone Properties and Mr. Deepak Kumar.V, Executive Director of Merestone Properties. The alumni on the other side were awestruck on the magnificent piece of architecture and facilities that are being made to the students of this era, roaming around the blissful, natural and memory-filled campus and the classes they spent back their days. The day ended with the affirmation of the college admins that more no of alumni meets would be foreseen in the future that would enhance them to meet up.
