MCA Alumni meet

Description
The purpose of the alumni meets is to promote and foster mutual beneficial interaction with alumni and the present students and to provide a forum for alumni to exchange the ideas. Curriculum updation to be done based on the discussion with alumni. This meet is also to motivate the alumni to take an active interest and participate in the work and progress of the institute and to create a mutual beneficial network between the alumni.

- 09:00 AM - 10:00 AMThe alumni meet was inaugurated with around 130 students from Computer Applications Department and 75 alumni. The session started with a welcome address by Dr. V. Geetha, Head of Department / CA,followed by an Address by Dr.Gurusamy ,Advisor ,Kumaraguru College of Technology. P.Parameswari, AP(SRG), Department of Computer Applications, proposed the vote of thanks
- 10:00 AM - 12:30 PMAfter the inauguration, multimedia presentations on MCA department, new in KCT and CIBI were made .Our Principal Dr.R.S.Kumar , Dr. S. Thangasamy, Dean, R & D, Placement officer also addressed the alumni . Later discussion on curriculum enhancement and interaction with the current students were made after the lunch break. Alumni gave lot of suggestions regarding our curriculum, which would be incorporated in the next revision of the syllabus. The meet came to an end with cultural program by the current students.
- 02:00 PM - 04:00 PMAlumnus who was present at the reunion cherished their memories. They felt that it was a wonderful opportunity to connect back with people and wished that this grows in strength and depth of engagement in years to come.
