Students from KCT have made significant achievements in YUSTART 2018, the National Student Startup Challenge at Bangalore on January 19, 2018. Team - 1 PANELBOT (secured 2nd place) Panelbot is an autonomous dry cleaning trackless robot which will clean the dust in the solar panel in order to increase the output power efficiency of the solar panels. Team members: Asp Sathya Nabeena Begum Santhosh Selvaraj Team - 2 VIPER (secured 4th place) VIPER is a device that is specially designed for packaging industries, which segregates the aligned and misaligned. It also ensures quality of components using machine vision and deep learning. Team members : Rohit Subramani Manoj Guha Rahanth Alagesan YuStart is a CII - Young Indians (Yi) led competition that supports students launching new business and social-impact ventures. It serves as a launch pad for budding entrepreneurs who have innovative ideas and are looking at learning from the existing entrepreneurial ecosystem by interactions and mentorship from leaders in this field
