Founder’s day is a hallmark event for Kumaraguru Institutions, an occasion to come together to reflect upon our mission, the legacy and to celebrate the inspiring life of our founder, Dr. N. Mahalingam Ayya. Arutchelvar Ayya envisioned creating educational institutions to act as enablers for society and develop young people to build an empowered and socially conscious humanity. Kumaraguru Institutions takes forward his mission, celebrating ‘Founder’s Day’ from 17 - 24 March 2019, marking Ayya’s 96th birth anniversary. In memory of our founder Ayya, Kumaraguru institutions bring together a series of events to remember his philosophy and vision for a conscious and responsible community. Arutchelvar Ayya valued the pursuit of achievement, perseverance and merit in students, greatly and to nurture these attributes in them student scholarships and awards such as Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship and Achievers award were introduced and every year over 1000 students are awarded. Hon’ble. Shri. Justice V. Ramasubramanian, Judge, High Court of Telangana, Hyderabad will award the students with the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship on 23 March 2019 between 09.30am and 12.30pm at Ramanandha Adigalar Auditorium.
