CI LEADER
The CI Leader will lead the design and implementation of operational excellence projects, drive a continuous improvement mindset, and build the capability to embed CI culture inside the organization. The role should Act as a change agent to help the factory team change their thinking and working methods to become a self-improvement organization to better satisfy customer needs.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
Lead and facilitate operational excellence projects along with axis leaders and other stakeholders to build a continuous improvement culture inside the organization.
To Provide coaching and implementation recommendations for continuous improvement to the organization Leaders through the OPEX program.
To work with key business stakeholders and opex axis leaders, to build a continuous improvement environment to support an ongoing program of cultural change.
Lead/ Train/ Coach team members to make improvements & bring Best practices in all Departments as given in OPEX grid.
Review ongoing efforts on each operational excellence action to meet the desired results and align actions according to the planned CI roadmap.
To lead the continuous Improvement team which includes objective setting, personal development, performance reviews, coaching and direction of day-to-day tasks as well as prioritizing projects for continuous improvement.
Identify opportunities for improvement, define problems, determine root causes, develop solutions, test solutions, and implement, stabilize, and sustain improvements while engaging and coaching team members throughout the continuous improvement [CI] process.
To support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency by identifying and eliminating unnecessary complexity within business processes and identifying better ways of working.
Develop manufacturing methods, standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient utilization of resources.
Collaborate with team members to continually improve upon standard work instructions.
Assess the organization on a monthly basis in the operational excellence level and take actions to meet the CI roadmap targets.
Communicate with internal and external customers to understand opportunities for continuous improvement.
Performs other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
