Machine vision for Mechatronics

Sakthi Kumar Arul Prakash graduated from the 2016 batch, earning his B.E. degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Kumaraguru College of Technology. He was the best outgoing student of Mechatronics Engineering department and the Student of the year for his batch. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Human Computer Interaction at the Pennsylvania State University, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. He currently works as a research assistant at the Design Analysis Technology Advancement (D.A.T.A.) Laboratory and is in his final year of study. His research interests are computer vision and machine learning applied to medicine/health care. He is a sportsman and headed KCT’s track & field (athletic) team. Besides running he likes to play tennis, go for cycling and hiking. He gave the guest lecture on Machine vision. He discussed about the various research opportunities in the field of machine vision. He gave the guidance to select proper project area. The students gained knowledge in the field of image processing through this guest lecture
